The Geneva Cemetery is the final resting place for many Soldiers who fought for this country. These wars include the Civil war, Veitnam. WW2 and Korea. There are reportedly 17 Confederate Soldiers and 2 Union Soldiers. The person who is most famous resting here is Lewis Thornton Paine. He was one of several people who conspired with John Wilks Booth in the Assassination of Abraham Lincon. At the age of 21, Lewis was convicted and hung in Washington. He was later moved to Geneva Cemetery and placed next to his Mother. Although this Cemetery is a Historical Site, there are still new grave markers and non-military people buried here.
Using a crystal cube, I was able to take ordinary household items and create amazing photos. I adjusted the crystal's angle through out my shots there by changing the reflection of the object and the light patterns.
This first image was created by placing a crystal cube in front of the lens giving the appearance of multiple views of one shot. The second picture was created by putting a tiny hole in aluminum foil. This allows the photographer to attach the pin hole to the camera without tape. The third picture used a hairspray cap which happens to attach to the lens without any other material.
